Matthew Stopper, M.D.

Dr. Matthew Stopper has joined the Great Valley Cardiology team of cardiac physicians. He specializes in electrophysiology, the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms.

Dr. Stopper received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA and continued his post-graduate education with a residency/chief residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. He received his fellowship training in Cardiovascular Diseases and Cardiovascular Electrophysiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Stopper is currently board certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology and Adult Echocardiography. He holds a Pennsylvania Unrestricted Medical License. Dr. Stopper is also a recipient of the Fellow Teaching Award from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
